⭕ Hello dear New Yorkers,

We are looking for a room swap rather thank a house swap.
We will be visiting New York from 29th September - 7th October this autumn.
It will be our first time in NY so wed do all the touristy stuff and hopefully visit NY Comic Con (if we get tickets) after this we will fly on to Mexico City for another week of holidays.

Rather than staying at a hotel wed  like to do a home stay with locals, like Air B&B just instead of money wed like to exchange the favour. Weve swapped with a couple from Berlin before and it was a great experience!

We live in a terraced Victorian 3 bed house with garden in East London, E7, Forest Gate (8 minutes walking takes you to Forest Gate train station - from there the train takes 12 minutes to Liverpool Street and from our house to Oxford Circus by train and tube takes approx 39 min.

Wed like to swap one of our bedrooms (it has a double bed in it and is facing the garden) against one of your bedrooms - best not during the same time but at different times during the year, so rather than doing a same-time-swap wed be interested in doing a visiting -style-swap if that makes sense :)

About us: We are a German/ Chinese couple 36, 42 years old -  designer and architect - non smoking -  with no children or pets (well except for the neighbour cats in the garden). We are not party animals, therefore we are looking to swap with someone similar - if you plan to go partying and come home drunk were not compatible as swapping partners ;).
Were friendly, laid back people and would be happy to help you with your London visit, places to see, things to do etc  and would appreciate if youd be willing to do the same.

Wed travel in and out of JFK so a good traffic link to there would help, also wed be keen on having a Metro station in walking distance and not to be too far out in suburbia. Somewhere in Brooklyn would be very cool  :).
So if you have a spare room in New York, like having visitors and most important want to spend a week in London, get in touch and we take it from there.
