1967 Fender Stratocaster Custom Color OLYMPIC WHITE

⭕ 1967 Fender Stratocaster in its original custom color OLYMPIC WHITE finish. This vintage Strat is in AMAZING condition as the original nitro finish has has been well preserved and is still VERY white and has NOT yellowed. We have spent a lot of time examining every detail of this original Strat and all have found the finish to be completely original with no touch-ups. All solder joints remain original, untouched, and unbroken. When the tuning keys were removed for photos, it revealed a unique feature representing the transition period from the use of Kluson Deluxe tuning keys to the F keys. At first, we assumed there had been a set of F keys at one time, but upon closer inspection we realized that the only set of tuning keys that have ever been installed is this set of factory Kluson keys that is still on the guitar. What appeared to be extra screw holes were the pilot holes drilled in the factory with the intention of using the new F tuning keys, but instead they used the traditional Kluson keys. The Fender factory also plugged some of the holes thought to be more visible after the neck was finished. As you will see in the photos below, the pilot holes are smaller and have never had screws in them. No parts have ever been changed as it is all original and 100% complete along with its original bridge cover and original tremolo arm. This is an incredibly fine example of a 60s custom color nitro finish Strat. The case is correct for this year, but has impressions of a Tele being stored in it. The neck date is February of 66, the pots date to early 66, and the pickups date to May of 67. The guitar was built in 1966, but the date of the pickups indicate its completion on the assembly line, so well call it a 67. It has a great playing neck with great frets with some fret buzz, but nothing that comes through an amplifier. The tremolo plate has some of the chrome flaking beneath the saddles. Other than that, there is only typical cosmetic wear including spots of discoloration from the case on two sides of the body, some minor finish checking, and other extremely minor cosmetic wear. This 60s Strat is structurally sound with no cracks, breaks, and repairs. All electronics work and sound AMAZING!
