The Klimax Renew has the Linn Klimax DS main circuit board, a brand new Linn Dynamik power supply and a brand new Linn case. The /0 main circuit board is from a Linn Klimax DS that has been upgraded to the newly released /1 main board. The only other circuitry in a Klimax DS is the front panel display - it could be argued that the Renew might even benefit from not having to drive this display.


Linn have now announced that the Renew will no longer be available to those Klimax DS owners looking to upgrade so this may well be one of the last advertised for sale.

The sound quality of the Linn Klimax Renew is absolutely stunning and is the best we have heard from digital music.

The Renew will be shipped with a CD containing the latest Linn control software. We suggest using Linn Konfig to setup the Renew on your home network and the free iphone/ipad app, Linn Kinsky, to control the Renew.
