⭕ This is the best pair of early Altec 288 drivers that I have seen in a few years. BOTH drivers have their ORIGINAL diaphragms. Please note that the early RWB drivers have different diaphragms than later 288. The L1 markings on the bakelite ring are done in GREEN paint and there is a green paint dot next to the L1 lead on the diaphragm. On later diaphragms the L1 marking is done in silver paint. Also the bakelite ring is different on these diaphragms. These are the real thing. Serial numbers are 1261 and 1341. They were removed from the same theater sound system and have been together since they left the factory back in the 1940s. Both have all original paint and decals and are in beautiful condition throughout. Available for delivery.
