⭕ Up for sale is my wonderful, extremely rare, and portable (100 lbs) Stephens Electronics 811D 2 16 track.The machine is fully restored and is truly one of the nicest sounding 2 decks ever made. The 811D does not use fet switching like the later 821Bs and with the simpler design it is considered to have a the best sound. The 811D is fully discrete using 618/620 opamps for the record/playback circuits. This 811D was one of the first ever made by John Stephens and was originally delivered to Paramount Studios in the early 1970s. Ive replaced all the capacitors, rebuilt the power supply, and everything works perfectly .
The transport and electronics weigh under 100 lbs but the wood case adds additional weight. International shipping is possible if the buyer would like to buy some road cases that would fit the transport/electronics. Payment by wire transfer.
