⭕ This important Grueby vase is covered with a thick organic green glaze.It has finely sculpted and applied leaves divided by yellow buds.There is also an applied and tooled series of leaf points around the base. The vase is in excellent condition, no repairs, chips or hairlines.This style vase is pictured in the book the Ceramics of William H. Grueby by Susan Montgomery on color plate XXVII.The size is 11 3/4 x 6.Impressed mark on bottom.
