This is a very Rare top quality antique English triple fusee musical bracket clock of fantastic large proportions
The flame mahogany case has an absolutely beautiful patina to it and is in excellent condition for age with stunning ormolu mounts
To the top of the case their is a pagoda style top which has been added to the case at some point in its history, although its is not original it does match in well with the case and adds an extra display quality to it
The case has a hinged glazed front door and a hinged back door which is glazed, they are both in great condition and both have their original working lock and key
Their are matching fretwork panels to either side of the clock with brass lion head handles above them
It has a stunning engraved silvered dial which has a black roman numerals, to the top their are 2 sub dials one is for silent/music and the other is for chime option which is a choice of 7 chimes which you can see in the photos
This is a very rare 8 day English triple fusee musical movement which has a 3 diameter music barrel where their is a choice of 7 musical chimes which strike on 13 bells, it strikes the hourly bell every hour where as the musical chime only goes off every 3 hours which is on the 12, 3, 6 and 9 and activates just before the hourly strike sounds
The clock measures an impressive 29 high x 17 x 12 deep
This is a very rare top quality English triple fusee bracket clock of superb proportions, it plays the choice of 7 musical chimes on 13 bells

The clock case is in excellent condition for age with a beautiful patina finish, the quality fusee movement keeps time and strikes as it should
