Excellent Condition. Most parts original.

The Moulton Speedsix was arguably the most refined and modern-feeling of the Classic Moultons. Its specification was entirely under the control of AM, unlike the later Raleigh models, and it shows how the Moulton was evolving towards the multi-function, high-spec bicycles that would be made when the spaceframe era began.

The important features that set the Speedsix apart from the more common (but still excellent) Classic Moultons of the period are:

* Removable tail beam and rear carrier
* Adjustable friction dampers on the rear forks and stiffer rubber in the suspension
* Six speed gearing using modified Cyclo Benelux P2 derailleur
* 17 alloy wheels with high pressure tyres
* All alloy componentry, apart from the cranks and seatpost
* A higher quality of finish on the frame construction
* Wider rear fork dropout
