⭕ Up for sale is a very rare rail pass issued by Otto Mears to Mr. A.T. Gunnell of Colorado Springs. This 1892 pass, numbered 218, is one of the filigreed passes which were only done in 1892 and represent the most ornate of the passes issued by Mr. Mears. Of Mr. Mears passes, the 1892 passes are considered to be the rarest and most sought after by collectors. This pass also has the raised signature of Mr. Mears which is more desirable as well. There were just over 600 of these passes made in the late 1800s and very few are known to still be in existence. It is a rare opportunity indeed to even see one come up for sale.
