⭕ very beautiful example of a pair of Meiji (1868-1912) bronze vases. It has twin handles in the form of elephant head, sadly one is missing. The design of the vases tells a story. One tells the beginning the other the ending clearly depicted in the exterior design as well as the bottom. Inside, one has a picture of a crane due and to its age the drawing on the other has gone. Showing signs of wear commensurate to its age. Dimensions 15.5 x 9.5 inches, weights 3 kilos each approx.
