⭕ This mid-1990s custom made top professional horn, in almost perfect conditon,is an R1 Model, with a scale and tone that rivals the best horns ever made.The original mechanical valves have been converted to quieter string action by Chuck Ward.This gave the additional benefit of a shorter valve throw and makes for smoother valve operation.
The horn is fitted with a Lawson 114.125 pipe (installed by Bruce Lawson) and the original R1 leadpipe comes with the horn!The original bell is detachable.The valves were plated and refitted by Chuck Ward and they are very tight with great compression.
Includes older MARCUS BONNA cut-bell case (no mute or accessories).
