English Concertina Crabb Treble Twin Reeded Red 41 Keys

⭕ There was only one red twin reeded English Concertina ever made,so it really is unique in the true sense of the word.
Steel reeds.
This is a large,very loud,both aurally and visually,instrument.
Bright red end frames and red bellows, with anodised aluminium ends.
It is a TREBLE with 41 keys plus an air button.
Bottom note is a G on the right hand side.
Twin reeded means there are 4 reeds to each note,2 in and 2 out,and are wet tuned. So 164 reeds in all.
Six fold bellows.
It measures 9 across the flats but only weighs 4 1/2lbs or just over 2kg.
It comes complete with the original Crabb fitted case--as usual no key.
It plays, feels and smells like a new Concertina, although it was made in the mid 60s.When Geoff Crabb saw the Concertina,a couple of years ago at Bradfield,he said I remember that one being made.
The inside is factory fresh, the reed pan is made from quarter sawn Sycamore, whilst the valve chest is Birch ply.
The red on the sides of the valve chest is Formica.
The reeds are fast and responsive and it is a pleasure and a delight to play, but be warned it is LOUD-- make no mistake. It is the loudest Concertina I have ever played.Drop me an email if you wish to view some pictures
