1970s ROGERS LS35A 15 Ohm Speakers

⭕ I am selling my late fathers rather rare gold badged ls3/5a speakers which he bought new in the 1970s. They are in teak finish and have the early brown tygan cloth grills. One of the gold badges has come unstuck from the grill and is lost. They came into my possession in 1995, when my father died. I used them until I bought a pair of late Rogers ls3/5a 11 ohm speakers and matched veneer AB-1 subwoofers in 1996 from Sterling Broadcast. I still use the 11 ohm pair and AB-1s today in my main hi-fi system. Since 1997 these 15 ohm speakers have been unused and stored in their original box until I recently wired them up in my hi-fi system. They have an impressive midrange with good imaging and lifelike quality, particularly in the way they portray the sound of female voices!
I have not attempted to open the cabinets and, therefore, I dont have the details of internal components. I am aware that opening the cabinets might damage the cabinet seal and I prefer to sell these speakers as 100% original without them being tampered with in any way.
There are light scratches on the tops of both cabinets, which are hardly noticeable. Also there are light scratches/markings on the bases of both cabinets, including a little blu-tac residue. Otherwise the cabinets are in near pristine condition. I have not attempted to polish out these marks, which would be easy, so as not to cover up their true condition. I have the original box for these speakers, which adds to their provenance, but no documents such as a receipt.
I assume most people interested in these speakers will already know much about them
