⭕ 1963 Pre-CBS L-Series Fender Stratocaster

I bought this guitar from the original owner back in 1986. Since then, I have loved it, played it and decreased its re-sale value to a serious collector. Ive always been a player - not a collector, so my decision to re-fret this beauty seven years ago was not a difficult one. This guitar plays as good as it sounds. Id rather keep it intact and sell it to someone who will appreciate and play it -- it deserves it.

O.K, enough background -- heres the scoop. It looks incredible - near mint. Its all original with exception of the re-fret and a 5-way switch (I will include the 3-way if you want to put it back in). The tip of the lower corner of the pickguard cracked off due to drying/shrinkage (about a 10mm piece from the screw hole to the edge) and I dont have it. I have it replaced with a corresponding small piece from a repro mint pickguard (screwed on, NOT glued). I included a picture. You can remove it if you want, I just have it on for cosmetic purposes, not value. The neck is stamped 2AUG63B. The Stackpole pots are 304-6334. The neckplate is serial number L13022. It comes with the pre-CBS case.
