⭕ Race-tuned Reliant 750 Side-valve engine and close ratio crash gearbox.

Built for and complies with 750 Trophy regulations but could be used for sprints and hillclimbs. It would make a superb engine for a fast Austin Seven Special. This is a very reliable engine and has been re-bored, fitted with new pistons and crankshaft bearings. It has a cross-bolted centre main bearing, high lift camshaft, large inlet valves, gas-flowed head, tube exhaust manifold, Weber 40DCOE carb, dry-sump system, new Pace oil pump, oil tank, Aeroquipped oil pipes, Porsche spec distributor and competition leads

It is easily delivering 50hp at 5500rpm within usual MSA noise restrictions.

Despite having been built and used for competition, this engine & gearbox is very suitable for a good road-going special. It was built by Don Rawson for his own use and has been recently refreshed and bench-tested prior to being offered for sale here.
