Rogers LS3/5a Speakers Early Gold Badge Models

⭕ These are a very early pair of Gold Badged 15 ohms speakers made by Rogers in the mid 1970s. The serial numbers are 731 and 732. They have Brown grills as apposed to black Tygan grills which appeared on later models. The speakers are original and in good condition. They are unmolested and have been in my family ownership since new. They were purchased by my farther and passed on to me many years ago. Please note that one of the red polarity covers is missing, these are quite common on audio and electrical equipment of this period so fairly easy to locate a replacement that merely screws on.

The history of monitor speakers designed by the BBCs Research Department is well documented and the LS3/5a was one of the first models to be manufactured under licence to Rogers from the BBC. The speakers are well known for there overall performance and quality of sound, which at the time were unsurpassed. Can arrange delivery or pick-up.
