⭕ Very,very rare Taxidermy CLOUDED LEOPARD (looks like tiger stripes) skin rug,with MOUNTED Head,typical VAN INGEN snarling expression with open mouth and well modelled tongue,all teeth present,
faded number on the canvas of the back of the head, but clear number on the woodblock 18934,which dates the skin to 1932,classed as an antique (pre 1947),does not need any documents to sell .
Canvas (backing cloth) in excellent condition,black felt edging in excellent condition,fur in good condition,some minor balding near edges (which would be under front and back paws,often places where fur is thinner anyway) SEE IMAGE,most claws present,tail some fur missing,length 64 inches.
The skin is soft and not hard nor brittle.There is one claw missing on each paw,but the clouded leopard is not just sought after for its claws.The dew claws on the forefeet are present.
