⭕ Fuel Injection -- 1964 1965 Corvette Fuelie System Fuelie unit for a Late 1964 -- 1965 Corvette with Rochester factory fuel injection 7017380 Serial# 2775 This 64/65 part # 7017380 fuel injection system is in excellent condition and has been REBUILT by one of the best professional fuelie specialists in the US, Jack Podell, who has had the best reputation in the fuelie restoration business for about 40 years. The unit is in like new condition, and has no damage and has the original factory aluminum finish like it had when it came from the factory. This unit was bought several years ago from Jack to put on a car, but it never was installed. It remained in the box untouched and was never fired or installed on an engine. Since the rebuild, it has not had any fuel introduced into it. The unit is free of any physical defects, has no problems, or cracks or welds in the manifold or anywhere. It appears complete, but may need a minor thing (like a gasket or hose) external to the unit, but the unit itself looks like factory new assembly. It is very nice and has been left completely original in finish and has not been modified at all. The unit is complete as shown in the photos, but I am including the fuel pipes and hoses that were included with the unit when it was bought . Since I have never installed one of these, I am not sure if anything else is needed or not. I know that the throttle cable is not included, and maybe an external fuel filter that was in the gas line on 64 models, and perhaps some screws to mount the air cleaner. This unit has NOT been polished. It looks and is like it was from the factory so it would be a great candidate for a meticulous 100 point restoration. It has had the injector nuts plated with the proper (original) plating material, along with each metal part on it has been returned to 100% original condition. I was told by a Corvette specialist that a car with a fuel injection unit is priced at 10000 15000 pounds more than a car with carbureted engine, but I have no experience to verify this claim.
